hoods

Keely states that both she and I have hoods for eyes. Although I'm still not completely sure what the heck she's talking about, I did come to some conclusion with this picture, that both Saylor and I have the same eyes. Therefore, Saylor has hoods as well. Is that a positive or negative trait?

teeth

you wouldn't know from this image but my little one yr old now has 9 teeth. Bring on the steak.

she'll kill me someday

but I just had to post this picture. Sophia has had SUCH a hard (pun intended) time with constipation and we're REALLY ready for this chapter to be at an end. Fingers crossed, but the miralax seems to be working. Any other tricks or hints would be welcomed.

Princess on Ice

The girls had a divine time at the Disney Princess on Ice last weekend. Olivia experienced her first taste of cotton candy (as a 4 yr. old -can you believe it?!?!) and Saylor had her zillionth taste since cotton candy is my FAVORITE treat of all time (as well as carmel apples, it's a close tie).

Sophia and I outside the Sprint Center following the show.
Flounder cotton candy priced at $10 bucks a pop but worth every penny!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

athlete, farmer

newscaster, surf chic

musician

doctor

teacher

Chef

March Madness

Josh and Matt Crocker attended the K-State vs. USC game last week in Omaha. Really, which mouth is bigger?? The boisterous cheers worked for a victory only to loose to the Wisconsin on Saturday, damn badgers. Check out that nice GOLD watch on Josh's wrist. This gold watch became quite a debacle as Josh ended up forgetting it at the local Econolodge. Since then, I've learned that this bling bling is one of my husbands favorite possessions. WHO KNEW? Thankfully, the housekeeper turned it in and the Crocker Clan recovered it for Josh on Saturday.

Easter Weekend - Sunday

We had a VERY busy weekend with Disney on Ice, Crown Center and Easter. The girls had a blast with all the events and fun surrounding. Here's a few pics from Easter...
Don't you just love the family pose. I should have photoshopped out my feet or at least darkened up my white legs.
The three cousins in yellow. It was very appropriate. Josh's parents also wore yellow to church - if you can believe it! We were very bright to say the least.

my talented cousin Allison played a requested song from my grandpa on her trumpet. It was amazing although she declined an encore.

McDonald's Tuesday

I am thankful for McDonald's and for my Tuesday Lunch date. Is it a problem that the ONE event I refuse to miss in a week is my McDonalds Tuesday lunch? Even if Taira is busy, I'm still there! Here's a few pictures from Sophia's birthday, which was on a Tuesday. It was her first attempt at a full hamburger - it did not last long...I ended up tearing it into bits to prevent any choking mishaps. I'm pretty sure McDonalds would not be able to assist in the Heimlich. The Crocker Clan - hey, that would be a great header for a blog Taira if you want to start one...

so long petticoats

I returned the petticoats today to Jen P. but not without one more photoshoot. I even brought Tatum in for a little action.

I don't get it

Okay, so I've been tagged by Julie and I'm suppose to come up with 10 weird, random facts or habits about myself. I only came up with one - 1) I can't think of 10 weird or random facts about myself. Does that count? I lead a random life, working one day, kid the next, starting a photography gig, running marathons, eating McDonald's. Wait, that could be #2. I eat at McDonald's at least twice a week but I'm pretty sure that's a known fact and not really random in my book. So, I guess sorry to disappoint but I'm not tag worthy.

Maybe my friends could pull through and figure out ten. Does anyone have anything for me???

mama bought a new lens

and I am in LOVE. I bought myself a little special treat. My camera was a tad bit lonely with only one lens so I purchased a new lens for a friend. Now, I'm in need of a shootsac to carry my camera gear. Here's just a few photos:

Sophia was all over the action as I was setting up today for a photoshoot.

This little man is going to stop all the girls in his tracks with his handsome looks (more pictures to come on my photography blog). Sophia showing off her cheeks - a full frontal.

Saylor Lillie and her love for the camera.

And my favorite thus far...a profile of Sophia - look close - blowing a bubble. Now that is detail.

Happy St. Paddy's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Saylor and Sophia were little troopers this weekend as they withstood the freezing temperatures during the St. Paddy's day parade. Sophia started to fade early so Josh and I went and found warmth at Planet Sub (imagine that). My mom said Saylor would not leave until the last float (or yet another random political car) drove by.

The kids also participated in an Easter Egg Hunt prior to the parade. I did not witness, but Saylor found the golden egg and won a fabulous prize. I guess you can say, my three year old is tougher than I since it was TOO COLD for me to run in the 10K race.

Happy Birthday Nana

Happy birthday to the wind beneath my wings! I love you mom.

my life with 4 kids

a day in a life with 4 kids...While Trav and Keely are off basking in the warm Phoenix sun, I'm here playing mommy daycare - wait, I do that everyday - I've just added two more to the mix. Xander and Roe have been absolute delights and we are really going to miss them when they go home. Here's a few pictures of the BUSY life I've lead in the last 48 hours. Sidenote: we went to McDonald's today(of course) but I didn't have my camera. Games
pretend play and dress up. for some odd reason, Roe has LIVED in this hand-me-down dress. she's taken it off and put it back on at least 10 times. saylor lillie prefers her undies and a tank.
"what would you like us to make you?"
Snuggled up for nap time (aka a movie)
plenty of snacks Sophia just walks around enjoying all the free entertainment. That's right, we've got a walker on our hands. She's been walking for about a month but just recently selected it as her preferred method of travel.
Xander in is sleeping bag, standing up.
It's Chick days at Orchilins so we stopped in to speak a little chirp, chirp, quack, quack (to the baby ducks) and a hop, hop (to the bunnies).

and, in my final effort to wear them out for the day, we hit the trampoline. It's amazing how well these kids play together.

I snapped a few pictures of Sophia, since she is the only one out of the 4 that will hold still. The lighting was perfect! I just LOVE those cheeks.
