A part of History

The Streak came to an end last night lead by a player who was not even born the last time K-State beat KU at home (how old does that make me feel). Being part of the capacity crowd of 12,528 in Bramlage Coliseum was a once in a lifetime experience - my ears are still ringing from the deafening crowd. The security guards forwarned us to head to safety as the students began sensing the victory with only minutes to go. It didn't keep us away, nor the thousands of students, as the floor was flooded by delirious Wildcats fans, who jumped over the press table and sent reporters, computers and notebooks flying. Here we are just seconds before the K-State VICTORY - note Mother Munsen's concerned look...

Bedtime Story for Mommy - By Saylor

Saylor decided it was her turn to read tonight. She chose the book Cars, which is also her current favorite movie. Now, let me preface this video by saying, she been up since 4 am and is running on a combined total of 5 hours of sleep (more on that later) as am I and in her sleep deprived state is almost right on with the verbiage. I was laughing so hard I was forced to find the video camera. Enjoy.

dance party

We had a playdate with Tatum today. The girls danced to Saylor Lillie's greatest hits. Saylor loved the racing song and Tatum prefered "Hot Dog."

taking a little break from all the action.

Sophia playing inside the house. I LOVED it. She was happy as a lark and I was happy that she was contained.Tatum playing with Saylor's boy toys.

a day to remember

thanks to the best partner ever, Miss Jennifer , I made it through my very first wedding with really no glitches.Yikes, talk about pressure - you only get one chance on this type of gig! Thankfully, it went super smooth and we had fun in the process.

It was a joyous event and they are a fabulous couple!

Do you like krypto gel?

found this perusing a random blog...I'm still laughing.

bedhead

have you ever seen such a bedhead sight?!?

pacie girl

Keely blogged on Monday a picture of Sophia and Jude having a little playdate. I thought both looked adorable but didn't love the pacifier in my child's mouth. Keely reassured me that she LOVED the pacie pic since she never took any of her daughter with one. So, here's to the pacifier.

impossible

I find it ultimately impossible to take a picture of my girls together - smiling, holding still and hair away from face.

New Hair Do

Today was another hair trim day at the salon. It's amazing this new world I've entered with a child with short hair. I love that I'm living vicariously through her.

Playdate with Reece

We had Reecer over for a little playdate so his mom could enjoy some maternity bedrest sans the 3 yr. old. He was such a delight and they had a great time.

If fun was measured in chaos, then Saylor Lillie's 3rd Birthday party was a complete success! Of course, we had tons of ballons since my child is CRAZY for them.Birthday girl.Cake stand, complements of Crocker. Blowing out the candles.
