I find it ultimately impossible to take a picture of my girls together - smiling, holding still and hair away from face.

New Hair Do

Today was another hair trim day at the salon. It's amazing this new world I've entered with a child with short hair. I love that I'm living vicariously through her.

Playdate with Reece

We had Reecer over for a little playdate so his mom could enjoy some maternity bedrest sans the 3 yr. old. He was such a delight and they had a great time.

Christmas - final take

Vintage bingo, family and fabulous prizes = FUN

Josh took time out from all the action to read Saylor some of her new books from her (or my) bingo victory. Can't believe Christmas has come and gone...Hope everyone had a good one.

Christmas Take 4

What a site! It's amazing how so many presents, wrapped in all the shimmer, can look so peaceful one second and be ripped to shreds the next. This is the before picture as all the kids are salivating to open...Santa filled Saylor Lillie's stocking at Nana and Papa's. Somehow Santa thought it would be a good idea to give Oreo's and chocolate at 9 in the am. I might need to have a little talk with Santa next year.
Sophia just loved all the boxes and paper. Why is it that crawlers find every spec of dirt, paper, bow, tape, etc. in the house and it goes straight to the mouth? She's better than my dirt devil!
Love my family, but yes, this picture is not LYING. My brother, his wife AND kids are all dressed alike in MATCHING pjs. I told Josh, this will be us next year. :)

We really enjoyed waking up at our house this year and enjoying Christmas together with our family. Here's what Santa brought Sophia - And Saylor Lillie -
