MY DAD! It's been 5 years (11-17-02) since my fathers aneurysm and EVERYDAY I think about what could have been. I'm thankful that I still have my father in my life and I'm even more thankful that he's a part of my daughter's lives.

Friends and Family

Thanks to Keely and Crocker, I overspent today at Gap with the friends and family. One necessity was this hat for Sophia.

Autograph Session

We traveled to Bramledge tonight for a mini autograph session with the Men's Basketball team. Saylor was EXTREMELY disappointed when Willie the Wildcat didn't show. Oh well, I'm assuming the Bill Walker and Michael Beasley autograph will be worth more than Willie's in the upcoming years.

Yet another birthday

I can honestly say, I had the best 31st birthday, EVER. Much of that happiness is owed to Keely for watching our kids so Josh and I could have a date night. Thank you, Thank you. It seems that those date nights are few and far between.

I also received a Purple Ribbon delectable chocolate cake made from Palmgren. It is, and I say this with complete honestly, the BEST CAKE I'VE EVER HAD! Just take a look...I think Saylor Lillie agreed

Busy Weekend

It's official, I'm a I-Have-No-Idea-What-I'm-Getting-Into Photographer. I kicked off the weekend with an adorable family photo shoot that went surprisingly well. Saturday morning was my niece Madeline's birthday party at Chuck-e-cheese. CHAOS! Saylor Lillie could not get enough of the games and rides and Sophia took an hour nap.

Saturday night we ate dinner at Say's FAVORITE cafe, Fritz's at Crown Center. Then we traveled to Blue Springs to stay with Megan and Lincoln in there beautiful new home. Lincoln and Say devoured popcorn while Megan gave Sophia and I the grand tour.

Sunday, we feed Elk and a Buffalo a $6 bag of carrots complements of Megan and Grammy Sharon. What an incredible experience! Following the indulgence of the elk I took a little time to capture a few pictures of Lincoln. What a sweet boy! I love his CHEESE smile.

Finally, we finished off the day with another birthday party for my girlfriends daughter. More sugar and fun! What a whirl wind of a weekend. btw, did I mention that I LOVE my new camera?!?!?
