Slam Dunk Contest

Saylor Lillie had the privilege of participating in the Half Time Slam Dunk contest this week at the K-State B-ball game against Mizzu. Shockingly, she busted out a 360 with a dunk and MADE THE BASKET. We could not have been more proud!

Once everyone made the dunk attempt, Willie selected a winner - and Saylor won. Utter Amazement. What a big girl. Here's a video of her from last year - we've improved remarkably: video.

it just happened

Sophia had a bit of a whirlwind hair day. She started out sassy, with a trendy bang braid. She enjoyed some playtime at the park and static'd it up a bit.

The girls had fancy nancy (as in my mom) over for dinner last night. Unbeknown to her, the girls (Saylor) decided to make the dinner a fancy feast - since I set the dining room table and I learned that was indeed the fancy room. I was almost banished for not turning fancy, thus I grabbed the first thing I saw in my closet - so fancy. :) It was a fancy feast indeed.

just the girls, took a rode trip to Kansas City.we explored.

Ringing in the new year

We had a last minute get together with just a few friends since we could not land any babysitter's on New Year's Eve.

the retired teacher brought over ALL kinds of projects

we fired up some spectacular fireworks that were leftover from July

and all the kids (somehow) manage to stay up PAST midnight. Unbelievable.

santa bought me a new facet for christmas but he forgot to stick around to install it - can you imagine that plumbers crack...:)

Thus, I called in my dad who ended up watching MY kids while I INSTALLED the new facet. Although, I did have him throw in a little muscle to tighten up my bolts.
