how to get rid of Halloween candy

1. start by blowing up two balloons2. Create a magic potion of flour and water
3. Taste it to be sure it's satisfactory
4. coat balloon until it's completely covered 5. wait until dry and pop balloons.
6. Fill up the largest creation with all unwanted Halloween candy
7. turn the masterpiece into a turkey Pinata for Thanksgiving. (I'll post the final product this weekend)

go wildcats - courtside

What a friend the Munsen's are - they not only gave us fantastic floorside seats for the b-ball game but she also capture these pictures. Sophia does not know what to think of Willie just yet. :) Thanks Sharyl.

update

they found one of my dads front arteries blocked so they are going in to repair.

His main artery was 80-90% blocked therefore requiring a stint. He had 2 other arteries 30% blocked but opted to treat those with medication. Everything went well and he came home Friday afternoon. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. He was VERY fortunate to find this via a stress test and not a heart attack.

thoughts

My dad's going in for a Heart Cath this morning at 11. Any thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

Extreme Makeover - KS style

we took a road trip yesterday to check out the progress on the Extreme Makeover house in Chapman. It's impressive - absolutely amazing what they can do in 48 hours! The girls LOVED the bus ride over, must have been the liberty of carseat free.
and, here's a little pic of one of the stars. Following this picture, he wispered in my ear, "Honey, I think you're the one in need of the EXTREME makeover - shower addition." Okay, maybe not, but I'm sure those were his exact thoughts since I was lookin' so non-showering good!

A cleaning lady

We had some friends coming to stay with us from KC for the football game this weekend so I delegated a few household chores (the bathroom and toilets) to Josh for Saturday morning since I had a few errands. This is what I came home to!!
Maybe it wouldn't have been such a big deal if I didn't have such an enormous grotesque stance on toilets. Really, he delegated just as I did, although I'm thinking my 3 yr is doing more playing than cleaning and let's just face it - that's disgusting!
